Telecom
Provider Digicel is yet to drop
their price for the Digicel DL700
aka Alcatel
One Touch Pop C3 as I’d predicted on my blog article
entitled “Digicel
poised to sell 20,000 Mobile Devices in June 2014 - GOJ's CET removal means
JA$4000 to JA$6000 smartphones are Possible”. Still Summer 2014 officially
starts on Tuesday July 1st 2014, one week from now, so hope isn’t
lost yet, folks.
Queue
the song “How We Rave” by
Denyque to kick things off right!
Most
likely this is just sabre-rattleing as they may be preparing for a tit-for-tat
response to the JA$4999 Huawei Ascend Y330 from Telecom Provider LIME as show in my blog article
entitled “LIME
JA$4999 Huawei Y330 and Digicel's JA$100 2 Day Data Plans - Voice and Data
Summer War as CET Removal coming on July 1st 2014”.
So
which company has the better deal?
First
up, I’ll repost Telecom Provider LIME JA$4999
Huawei Ascend Y330.
Next,
I’ll post the ad for Telecom Provider Digicel
DL700 aka Alcatel
One Touch Pop C3.
Both
are evenly matches in specs with the JA$7999 DL700 coming out swinging with
support from the Bigger, Better and clearly the Network with more “4G” Mobile
Broadband Coverage. But the JA$4999 Huawei Ascend Y330 has a price plus a
30-Day Data Plan that’s hard to beat.
Dear
Reader, which shall it be for the Summer, now that it’s clear that there’s a looming
smartphone battle coming by Tuesday June 1st 2014?
And
what of Tablets?
Shall
their prices tumble too on Emancipation Day on Friday August 1st
2014, based on intel from friends of mine in the Call Centers, an auspicious
date which also happens to be my Birthday, as stated in my blog article
entitled “Council
of Trade and Economic Development allows GOJ to remove CET on smartphones - How
CET removal from Phablets is the Perfect Storm for CET-Free Tablets by
Emancipation Day”?
Who
will win the War for the Iron Throne come Tuesday July 1st 2014?
