Foxconn installing Robots to meet coming Apple iPhone 6 demand - 100,000 new employees and Foxbots doing trance like Robotic dance

Foxconn, the Chinese manufacturer of American Products on contract, is finaly set to get some Robots this time around to help them with the production of smartphones, specifically the Apple iPhone 6 as stated in “Foxconn Robots: iPhone 6 to be built by ‘Foxbots’”, published July 7, 2014  By Trevor Mogg, DigitalTrends and “The iPhone 6's Battery Will Be Built By 'Foxbot' Robots In China”, published JUL. 7, 2014, 8:50 AM by DAVE SMITH, Business Insider.

Foxconn CEO Terry Gou has confirmed this move, citing problems from 2013 production run of the Apple iPhone 5S and 5C that saw damaged units ending up in the hands of Americans as stated in “Quality-control crackdown causing iPhone 5 supply issues, Apple shares knocked”, published October 9, 2012 By Trevor Mogg, DigitalTrends.

This time he’s making good on his promise to introduce Robots into the manufacturing of the Apple iPhone and other products as I’d written back in 2011 in my blog article entitled “Foxconn to replace workers with Robots – Devil in a Blue Dress avoid Mutiny on the Bounty”.

From the sound of it, these Robots, referred to as ‘Foxbots’, may mainly be Robotic arms and not humanoid Robots, based on the price that Foxconn CEO Terry Gou is alledgegly paying for them, that being US$20,000 to US$25,000 per Robot. He’s also alledgedly hiring an extra 100,000 workers to cope with the production demand as speculated in “iPhone 6: Foxconn embarks on ‘largest single hiring spree’ for assembly lines”, published June 23, 2014 By Trevor Mogg, Digital Trends suggesting that the demand for the Apple iPhone is expected to be huge.

Along with the additional 100,000 employees being employed by Foxconn, these Robots will be tasked with areas of work in the factory that’s simple, repetitive, hazardous and involves tracking large amounts of information accurately and moving goods from point A to point B as explained in my blog article entitled “Fast Food Robot taking over by 2017 - How Drones like Amazon and PrimeAir and not Humanoid Robots will be the first Robots by 2015”.

So Robots most likely in Quality Assurance and Assembly stages of making the Apple iPhone 6, simply put. Not to mention just moving batches of finished Apple iPhones from the end of the Assembly line to Warehouse Storage for Shipping Internationally.

Apple iPhone 6 with Sapphire Screen – Huge demand due to unbreakable, unscratchable screen

Based on my estimates, the Apple iPhone 6 is expected to launch on Tuesday September 9th 2014 as I’d predicted in my blog article entitled “WalMart Sale on Apple iPhone 5S and 5C - Apple iPhone 6 expected in September 2014 and is worth its weight in Gold and Sapphires”.

It’s now July 2014, a full 2 months before September 2014. Foxconn has two (2) months to produce the required amount of Apple iPhones 6 at the quality and quantity specifications that Apple needs on tap to meet the expected demand. That demand looks to be huge, as there’s the possibility of an Apple iWatch also being launched around the same time, also draped in Sapphire as predicted in my blog article entitled “Apple hires Tag Heuer Sales Executive - High-Profile Executive Poachings signals iWatch with CarPlay, HomeKit, HealthKit and NFC integration”.

I suspect that this time around it may not be too hard, as at least the one component you can’t damage is the screen; it’s being made of unbreakable Sapphire as I’d predicted in my blog article entitled “Apple and GT Advanced Crystal Technologies building Sapphire Plant in Arizona – Arizona people working to coat Apple iPhone in Unbreakable Sapphire with possible Jamaican Bauxite Industry Revival coming”.

So will the world get to see glimpses of these Foxbots doing their weird trance like Robotic dance as the work? A PR (Public Relations) Campaign on the part of Foxconn to allay fears of mistreatment of Chinese workers while they make Apple iPhones cheaper than Americans may receive lukewarm response, but it would make for great Tech articles on how Robots are slowly replacing humans.
