ComScore predicts massive Apple iPhone 6 Upgrades - Older iPhone users like the Sapphire Screen, Aluminum body, 128GB and Bezel-free smartphone

People, it’s Apple iPhone 6 time again this year!

Come Tuesday September 9th 2014, the official launch date for the Apple iPhone 6, we’ll get to see what a Sapphire Screen, Aluminum body, 128GB and Bezel-free smartphone looks like as predicted in my blog article entitled “Apple iPhone 6 Official Invite sets Tuesday September 9th 2014 - Expect a Gold Standard 128GB Sapphire Screen with iWatch and NFC Mobile Money and BitCoin Wallet”.

Interestingly, according to research done by analyst ComScore as shown on the chart below, Apple iPhone 6 will spark a rash of upgrades, particularly among persons still toting the older Apple iPhone 3G/3GS.

1.      46% of Apple iPhone 3G/3GS
2.      43% of Apple iPhone 4
3.      40% of Apple iPhone 4S
4.      36% of Apple iPhone 5
5.      15% of Apple iPhone 5C
6.      24% of Apple iPhone 5S

Depending on if you look at the glass as being half-empty or half-full, the results can be seen as being either good or bad for Apple. On one hand, over 40% of Apple iPhone 3G/3GS, Apple iPhone 4 and Apple iPhone 4S show a desire to upgrade to the new Apple iPhone 6.

This is good as it would reduce Apple iPhone fragmentation and get those users hip to new innovative features such as iBeacon, NFC (Near Field Communication) to enable a Mobile money Wallet, support for Bitcoins and an unscratchable, unbreakable sapphire screen.

But the reluctance among the Apple iPhone 5, Apple iPhone 5C, and the Golden boot Apple iPhone 5S indicates that they’re more than satisfied with their smartphones and aren’t as eager to upgrade, especially as they JUST bought their smartphones last year.

So what do you think dear reader? Are you planning to get the Apple iPhone?

Stay tune to my blog as I’ll be doing an article on the Apple iPhone 6 when it launches on Tuesday September 9th 2014 and goes on sale on Friday September 12th 2014!
