@aeromobil Hybrid Car-Plane prototype and How Mind Control will Revolutionize Road Trips

“Maybe 10 years from now, it needs to be automated,"  "With an algorithm, it would be managed much better by a computer than by man”

AeroMobil chief communications officer Stefan Vodocz speaking about the AeroMobil Hybrid Car-Plane, a finalist at the SXSW (South by Southwest) Interactive Innovation Awards to be held on Monday March 16th 2015

People have been dabbling with the idea of Autonomous aircraft that can fly themselves.

The example of ASTRAEA (Autonomous Systems Technology Related Airborne Evaluation & Assessment) being developed by BAE systems in conjunction with others as noted in my blog article entitled “ASTRAEA Consortium makes first Inaugural flight of an Autonomous Passenger Aircraft in April 2013 - Greek Goddeses Daughter of Zeus are now The Kings of Summer”.

But what about the idea of fully-autonomous flying Cars?

AeroMobil, a startup from Slovakia that has been designing Flying Cars since 1989, has built a working prototype Hybrid of a Car and an aeroplane as reported in the article “What comes after the flying Car? A self-flying Car”, published March 14, 2015 12:57 PM PDT by Richard Nieva, CNET News.

AeroMobil is a finalist in the SXSW (South by Southwest) Interactive Innovation Awards slated to take place on Monday March 16th 2015 where their crazy concept for a hybrid plane-Car will be on display. The AeroMobil Hybrid Car-Plane prototype, which will be on display, took 10 months to produce and only needs a runway that's 800m in length.

Potentially, if the AeroMobil Hybrid Car-Plane prototype was a fully autonomous craft, it could potentially fly passengers on 500 mile journeys hassle free, without the need for the owner to have a pilot’s license, as the Car would do all the flying.

Effectively, this would be a lot like those Autonomous Cars that the British  Ministry of Transport is trying to jumpstart for US$29 million to achieve a US$299 billion boost in productivity as well as tourist arrivals as explained in my blog article entitled “How Britain will make US$29 billion from Driverless Cars by 2025 - British Government's US$29 million Driverless Vehicles Gamble”, but in the air, not on the ground.

Even better, it would also save on the cost of building road infrastructure, as with flying Cars, roads would become obsolete as the sky would be our highways. But is this technology concept a real thing or a flight of fantasy?

AeroMobil Hybrid Car-Plane prototype - How Autonomous Flying-Vehicles will revolutionize Road Trips in the Future

It's an update to the original AeroMobil 3.0 that made its debut in November 2014 as stated in the article “Meet the AeroMobil 3.0, a crazy beautiful flying Car”, published November 6, 2014 10:28 AM PST by Michael Franco, CNET News. Take a gander at the AeroMobil Hybrid Car-Plane prototype, which is shown in the picture below.

It originally made its debut at the Pioneers Festival in Vienna on Wednesday October 29 2014.

Their first Hybrid Car-Plane prototype, the AeroMobil 2.5 was release in 2010 and was fully certified by the Slovak Federation of Ultra-Light Flying (SFUL) as authorized by the Civil Aviation Authority of Slovak Republic.

So this thing is real and it can both drive and fly, very similar to the Terrafugia TF-X Flying Hybrid Car  as describe in my blog article entitled “Terrafugia’s Flying Hybrid 2013 Terrafugia TF-X to debut in the Fourth Quarter of 2013 - Shara Tibkin's Sweet Dreams of The Jetsons wants Christina Aguilera's Your Body”  that made its debut at the New York International Auto Show in April 2012.

It eventually made its debut in August 2013 at the EAA AirVentures air show, demonstrating to all Americans that the idea of a Flying Car was a real thing as noted in the article “At Oshkosh, Terrafugia's flying Car finally soars for the public”, published August 1, 2013 6:00 AM PDT by Daniel Terdiman, CNET News.

Autonomous Flying Cars may soon be a Reality – Mind Controlled Cars a possibly safety solution

So the technology is not only long in coming, but the current prototypes are real.

The main problem relates to air safety, as aptly demonstrated by the recent crash of a Maverick Flying Vehicle in October 2014 in Marion County, Florida as reported in the article “Flying Car crashes and burns in Florida”, published October 21, 2014 3:29 PM PDT by Chris Matyszczyk, CNET NewsGood to not both pilot and passenger survived, but the story could have ended differently!

A solution to this is to not only trust the flight of the vehicle to an Autonomous AI (Artificially Intelligent) System but to also use manual Remote Control intervention.

This can be done via a human that can log into the Hybrid Car-Plane remotely and connect to it with their mind over a radio link as described in my blog article entitled “@TEKEVER Brainflight Drone using Beta Waves – How Autonomous All-Electric Airplanes are controlled with Windmills in your Mind” take over control of the aircraft and bring it down safely.

So, Hybrid Car-Plane, anyone?
