This year, the Nobel Prize in Physics is going to Dr. Francois Englert of
the L'Universitélibre
de Bruxelles in Belgium and Dr. Peter Higgs from the University of
Edinburgh in the UK for their paper on the Higgs Boson, the existence
of which was recently confirmed by the CERN on Wednesday July 4th
2012 as stated in “Higgs boson theory nets Nobel for pair of
physicists”, published October 8, 2013 4:03 AM PDT by Stephen
Shankland, CNET News.
Distinguished
scientists whose research has caught the eyes of the peer review of the Nobel Prize Committee based at the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences are awarded each
year with a prize that commemorates their achievements in furthering human
knowledge in each of the following areas:
1.
Physiology or
Medicine - Monday 7 October 2013
2.
Physics - Tuesday 8
October 2013
3.
Chemistry - Wednesday
9 October 2013
4.
Literature - 10 October 1.00 p.m. CET 2013
5.
Peace - Friday 11
October, 11:00 a.m. CET 2013
6.
Economic Sciences -
Monday 14 October, 1:00 p.m. CET 2013
In the case of the Nobel Prize in Physics, this discovery of the Higgs
Boson on no better date than Wednesday July 4th 2012 after forty five (45)
years of Research using the LHS (Large Hadron SuperCollider) from the European
Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) as stated in my blog article entitled “Higgs Boson Discovery is the
Biggest discovery of 2012 - Lay the Favourite for Anti-Gravity, Light Speed
Travel and Quantum Teleportation Deadfall”.
Dr.
Peter Higgs, from the University of Edinburgh in the UK, and Dr. Francois Englert, from
L'Universitélibre de Bruxelles in Belgium, wrote independent papers in 1964
suggesting this missing piece of the Standard Model that gives the Elementary
Particles Mass but it was widely dismissed as being absurd!
Now
nearly 50 years later, the CERN has managed to discover the Higgs Boson and
more recently, after having examined the data in more detail, are now more than
99.99999% sure they've got her as stated in “CERN physicists now pretty
sure they've found Higgs boson”, published March 14, 2013
7:21 AM PDT by SharaTibken, CNET News.
Dr.
Francois Englert and Dr. Peter Higgs who collaborated with another physicist
Dr. Robert Brout, will receive the Nobel Prize for Physics worth US$1.25
million. Dr. Robert Brout is deceased and thus doesn’t qualify! So congratulations
are in order as this prize award fits the monumental nature of this discovery,
which is now fully verified as the Higgs Boson and will add to our Quantum
Theory understanding of Matter based on the Standard Model. It also implies
that things such as Dark Matter and SuperSymmerty are possible.
More interesting are the practical applications in Telecommunications
and Travel, as it opens up the possibility of such practical applications as
explained in my blog article entitled “Higgs Boson Discovery is the
Biggest discovery of 2012 - Lay the Favourite for Anti-Gravity, Light Speed
Travel and Quantum Teleportation Deadfall”as:
1. Anti-Gravity
2. Light
Speed Travel
3. Anti-Matter
Converter
4. Quantum
Teleportation
5. Time
Travel
6. Nuclear
Fusion and Arc Reactors
7. Sub-Space
Relay Communication
This wild scientific goose chase has finally borne fruit and now after
catching this elusive goose, has taken the pair of Physicists who originally
published their paper fifty years ago to the heights of superstardom with the
award of the Nobel Prize for Physics, The Big Bang Theory (2007- ) Style!
Congratulations again Dr. Francois Englert and Dr. Peter Higgs!
