“This has solidified your place on the show as a major, major contender”
Comments by Team Lead Adam Levine
after Tessanne Chin's selection on Monday November 18th 2013
“The Voice” is proving to be an
interesting and very riveting Competition. And yes, if you’ve not heard the
news, Tessanne Chin as
of Monday November 18th 2013 is now a Royal, as she’s now a
member of the Top 8 as stated in the article “And
now there are 8: Tessanne still safe”, published Tuesday, November 19, 2013
10:10 PM, The Jamaica Observer
and “Tessanne
bolts into The Voice top eight”, Published Tuesday November 19, 2013 10:05
pm, by Davina Henry, Staff Reporter, The
Jamaica Gleaner.
No post code Envy, but she can definitely be their Ruler in “The Voice”!
She’s truly going to be a major contender in “The Voice”
as she’s got the looks and the experience to make it as explained in my blog article
entitled “Tessanne
Chin is now in the Top 12 for the Live Rounds of The Voice - How to vote for
#TeamBreadandButta via using a VPN or Proxy Account Last Vegas Style”.
So says Adam Leving, her team coach as noted in “WHEW!
Tessanne in top 8”, published Wednesday, November 20, 2013 BY RICHARD JOHNSON Senior staff
reporter, The Jamaica Observer
after she delivered a strong performance of Gladys Knight's “If I Were
Your Woman”:
Also, it’s really helpful when your fellow Jamaicans are rooting for you,
not just your sister, Husband and Father but also The Fastest Man on the
Planet, Usain Bolt. Apparently it only took him 9.56 Seconds to dash away from
his book signing in Los Angeles and reach over to support her compatriot as
stated in “Usain
supports Tessanne on The Voice”, published Tuesday, November 19, 2013 1:10
PM, The Jamaica Observer.
Tessanne in the Top 8 – Luck
Charms rubbing off on anyone singing with her in a Duet
The original Top Ten from last week Monday November 11th 2013 were:
1.
Will Champlin
2.
Tessanne
Chin (Go #TessanneChin)
3.
James Wolpert
4.
Cole Vosbury
5.
Caroline Pennell
6.
Matthew Schuler
7.
Austin Jenckes
8.
Jacquie Lee
9.
Ray Boudreaux
10.
Kat Robichaud (Go #Kat!!)
Unfortunately Kat Robichaud from Team Cee Lo appears to have lost all of
her Nine lives as she was booted off the list along with Austin Jenckes from
Team Blake. Thus the Top 8 reads selected by the 10 million
viewers who had a chance to vote on the fate of the contestants as
follows, broken down in terms of teams, are:
Team Adam
1.
James Wolpert
2.
Will Champlin
Team Christina
1.
Matthew Schuler
2.
Jacqui Lee
Team Blake
1.
Ray Boudreaux
2.
Cole Vosbury
Team Cee Lo
1.
Caroline Pennell
It seems to be Maroon Frontman Adam Levine’s year, with much of his team
basically “Safe and Sound” while the other teams have hemorrhaged heavily.
Christina Aquilera and Blake Shelton are barely holding on by a thread. Cee Lo
Green is basically out of the competition, with his last remaining singer Caroline
Pennell being save by Twitter Voting. Her rendition of Gladys Knight's “If I Were
Your Woman” literally sealed her fate.
Adam Levine’s on a Roll with
Tessanne Chin – Maroon War has scalped the other Teams
Clearly too, Tessanne
Chin has a kind of magical power over
the audience with her voice. Not only are her two (2) main team mates James
Wolpert and Will Champlin still in the competition, but
when she did her rendition of Royals by Lorde along with Caroline
Pennell, she also seems to have influenced the Twitter voters to save Caroline
Pennell and thus keep Team Cee Lo in the mix.
Thus many punters in Jamaica are expecting her to make it to
the Top 6. After all, if the “The Voice” is
anything like the Maroon War was in Jamaica, nothing but a Treaty will suffice
as Tessanne’s taking no prisoners. She may not be royalty but her voice does
truly appeal to the All Seeing Eye of the Royals to whom she sang the song
after being declared safe.
This of course
is easy to see and is as Black and White as her salaciously attired backup
singers dancing around a gilded stage in her performance with Twitter vote
rescued Caroline Pennell. Hence they’ve [The Royals]
have bent Time and Circumstance in this #BreadandButter Panem et circenses (Bread and Circus Games) in her favour. They
may yet grant her the Crown for the Americans adore her.
Can’t wait till
next week. Until then you know how to vote for Tessanne Chin:
