Tessanne Chin’s Fire Video – Why the Count on My Love artiste Album will be on Fire

“I want the video to represent the message of the song which, to me, is a modern-day soulful power anthem without it being the typical boy-girl scenario. Yes, I want it to be fun, but I also want to embrace the wonderful authority that comes from knowing yourself and your worth and owning your fierceness no matter who, what, where, when or how. Own your Fire”

It's finally happened folks!!

On Monday August 10th 2015, artiste Tessanne Chin released the video for her single “Fire” from her up and coming second album as reported in the article “Tessanne drops Fire”, published Thursday, August 13, 2015, The Jamaica Observer.

The video above was released on the Justice League Music Group Label in May 2015 as reported in my blog article entitled “Tessanne Chin teases Fire Single – The Voice Artiste channels her Heartbreak Phoenix Energy into an upcoming New Album”.

The video premiere exclusively on website The Boom Box on Monday August 10th 2015 as reported in the article “Tessanne Chin Delivers Sass and Soul in Sizzling Hot ‘Fire’ Video [EXCLUSIVE]”, published August 10, 2015 By Trent Fitzgerald, The Boom Box.

They also who also did an extensive interview with the artiste as to the concept behind the video which was directed by Nathan Patrick and shot on location in Jamaica.

Tessanne Chin’s Fire Video – Why we should expect Great things from her 2nd Album

The concept as related by Nathan Patrick is rather vague for an otherwise avant garde Aretha Franklin retro throwback themed video of the local songbird, quote: “It has a throwback vibe which, I think, represents the feel of the song perfectly. It's colourful and fun and brings attention to the music, it's all about the music”.

According to the interview with The Boom Box, the breakup with husband Michael Anthony Cuffe was not a source of inspiration, making this a purely artistic effort by the artiste. It's also a prelude to her as-yet named album, of which I've only heard nothing but whispers, Da Vinci's Demon's Style!

May it’ll be called Inferno of Love or Campfire Lullabies or any other suggestion my sources have whispered to me.

Still, this is a great jam and by all indications, it heralds a great follow-up album to “Count on My Love” that we can count onto set her fans on fire!
