How Amazon's new Kindle heralds Solar Powered Hydrogen Fuel Cell and Fall Prevention Technology

Amazon has plans to reveal another Amazon Kindle.

This time around, however, Amazon plans to introduce a rechargeable case for the Amazon Kindle as reported in the article “Amazon's next Kindle will reportedly be thinner thanks to a rechargeable battery case”, published April 5, 2016 By Chris Welch, The Verge.

Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos teased the coming of the Amazon Kindle on Twitter as reported in the article “Bezos Teases New Amazon Kindle Ereader”, published APRIL 4, 2016 by Don Reisinger, PC Magazine

Amazon's new Kindle case will protect it from falls and in the process make the Amazon Kindle thinner.

Additionally, Amazon has plans for another solar-powered case that may launch next week as noted in the article “Amazon to Release New Kindle With Rechargeable Protective Case”, published April 5, 2016 by Greg Besinger, The Wall Street Journal

So why is this such a big deal?

Amazon's Lab126 New Case - Li-Ion and Solar power Hydrogen Fuel Cell Fall Prevention Technology

Amazon's Lab126 may finally be building the Fall Prevention Technology into their Amazon Kindle Case.

The patent for their Fall Prevention Technology had been announced in August 2012 as recorded in my blog article entitled “Amazon patents Fall Prevention Technology for smartphones and Tablets - The Research begins with Amazon’s patent that’s Hyde Park on Hudson”. But little has been said about this technology

Amazon might be using this latest kindle to demonstrate this technology, as there is simply no need to build a Tablet with Solar Panels or Li-Ion Battery pack to recharge your Kindle.

Especially as the most intense activity conducted on these e-readers is reading really long books.

Thus the need for Li-Ion Batteries or solar panels may simply be to store energy produced by a Hydrogen Fuel cell similar to the one Intelligent Energy designed to work in the Apple iPhone as explained in my blog article entitled “Intelligent Energy Hydrogen Fuel Cell for Apple - How Hydrogen can give Apple products weeks of battery life by 2017”.

Amazon and VR – Solar Tech to protect your Tablet from Gravity Falls

Hopefully this Hydrogen Fuel Cell technology will also find its way into an Amazon Smart Glasses as Amazon is yet to throw their hat into the VR (Virtual Reality) ring as pointed out in my blog article entitled “Amazon Smart Glasses Patent - Why 3D Portable Fuel Cell Power will compete against Microsoft, HTC, Oculus and Samsung”.

This might stop and even reverse the inevitable death of Tablets due to their absence this year at CES 2016 and MWC 2016 as noted in my blog article entitled “Why Tablets missing from MWC 2016 as Tablet Extinction and smartphone VR cometh”.

The Kindle and their ilk may be saved from the demise as predicted in my blog article entitled “@amazonKindle Fire battle Apple iPad Mini in 2014 - Why @Amazon Tablet Glory Days fading as Tablet Extinction inevitable” as this tech promises more power and protection for your fragile screen in case of falls.

Longer battery life using Hydrogen fuel Cell and reducing cracked screen would be welcome news when CEO Jeff Bezos introduces the new Amazon Kindle.
