Twitter to buy SoundCloud - Cloud Music powered by 4G LTE as Developed and Developing World go Supersonic

Folk, this is it, the shortest blog article ever I’ll pen. Everyone, it seems has Streaming on the Brain, be it Music, Video or Voice Calling Services.

Now Twitter is taking a second Stab at Music Streaming as word is floating about that suggests that they have plans to buy Berlin, Russia-based “YouTube of Audio” SoundCloud as reported in “Twitter reportedly in talks to buy SoundCloud”, published  May 19, 2014 11:46 AM PDT by Daniel Terdiman, CNET News and “TWITTER MAY MAKE ANOTHER RUN AT MUSIC, CONSIDERING DEAL TO BUY SOUNDCLOUD”, published May 19, 2014 by Christian Brazil Bautista, DigitalTrends.

This announcement comes a mere seven (7) days after Twitter has finally availed its members of the Mute Option to mute annoying Stalkers…..er...….I mean Tweeters as described in my blog article entitled “How to mute someone on Twitter - To Block or to Mute for Silence of the Lambs as The Day the Earth Stood Still”.

I still can’t access it [Twitter’s Mute function], as you may have noticed if you read the article, but if this is the “YouTube of Audio” then such a potential deal would be no different from when Google had purchased YouTube back in 2006 for US$1.65 billion acquisition as noted in my blog article entitled “YouTube’s March To profitability in the Fourth Quarter of 2012AD - Digital Video and Music Piracy of the Caribbean On stranger Tides”.

Twitter taking a nosedive back into Streaming was expected, as with faster 4G LTE (Long Term Evolution) Networks rolling out across the US of A, especially from Telecom Provider AT&T as reported in my blog article entitled “AT&T launching 4G LTE powered Wi-Fi and expanding AT&T U-Verse - AT&T offensive as Google sprouts 1 Gigabit IEEE 802.11ac Wi-Fi Protocol as Jamaica catches up”, this move was inevitable.

Especially if you’re Bread-and-Butter is Apple iTunes. More than a very good reason for Apple to plunk down US$3.2 billion to acquire Beats Electronics and their Streaming Platform Beats Audio to integrate with Apple iTunes as stated in my blog article entitled “Apple to buy Beats Electronics for US$3.2 Billion - Interaxion Mind Reading Device as when Mind Audio Hits, You Feel No Pain”.

This is of interest to Musicians and Artiste globally though, as SoundCloud is a popular way to upload and Stream music with their fans and for Music Aficionados to get exclusive Tracks free without Downloading as I’ve unveiled in my blog article entitled “How to download Music using Index Query in Google Search Engine - Google Search Engine sniffs out indexes loaded with Music”.

Twitter rides the SoundCloud – Cloud Music as Developed and Developing World go Supersonic

The Developing World is slowly catching up, as low-cost Budget smartphones now sport features of the High-end Smartphones and the features of low-cost smartphones start to trickle upwards to the High-end smartphones.

Features such as Emoji, Stickers and Dual-SIM (Subscriber Identification Module) (low-end smartphones) and 4G LTE, Wi-Fi Direct and App (High-End) are beginning to merge, making low –end and high-end, at least in terms of specs, indistinguishable from each other as pointed out in “Don’t Diss Cheap Smartphones. They’re About to Change Everything”, published 05.16.14 6:30 am By Mat Honan , Wired.

So Streaming is yet another feature coming to the Developed World that’s trickling down from the First and Developed World. This as Jamaica is on the cusp of going Supersonic with 4G LTE in the next eighteen (18) months as stated in my blog article entitled “LIME and Digicel have purchase AWS and 700 MHZ Spectrum for 4G LTE - Spectrum Purchase by the Number with Strings Attached as Ministry gets kitty donations from Local Telcos”.

Already RJR Communication Group is preparing to go Streaming in October 2014 with assistance from UNIV to unfurl their common uVOD Streaming Platform for Radio and Television as described in my blog article entitled “RJR Group to launch UNIV’s uVOD Streaming Platform by October 2014 - Streaming Gamble against Piracy as 2015 is DSO to DTT and Digital HD Radio”.

So when Twitter buys SoundCloud and integrates in into Twitter, hopefully all Twitter users, Musicians and Performing artists especially, will be availed of the ability to not only upload their content via Twitter but also get and instant audience to Fans and regular Twitterrati on their Desktop, Laptop, smartphone and Tablet.
